Launched in 2015 with the Aviation Academy, the CCBC High School Academy program now educates more than 170 students from 40 school districts throughout Western Pennsylvania through an innovative dual enrollment model in which students have the opportunity to explore careers in areas of workforce priority for the region while receiving hands-on instruction from college faculty in labs and classroom environments that stimulate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
