Quaker Valley Girls Volleyball Summer Camp
June 23-26, 2025
Students entering grades 5-8 in the fall are invited to participate in the QV Girls Volleyball Summer Camp run by QV Varsity Coach, Mike Vavrek and the 2024 WPIAL AA Champion team. The camp will occur Monday-Thursday June 23-26, 9:00 a.m.-noon each day at the QVHS gym. The cost is $100 and includes a t-shirt (camp application must be received by Monday, June 9, 2025, to receive a t-shirt). The camp will cover basic skills, and fundamentals, passing, hitting, setting, and serving. Activities, games, prizes and more! Lunch will be provided for campers on Thursday (last day).

QVMS Athletic Performance Summer Program
June 21 - August 9, 2025
My name is Kevin Boyle, and I have been an athletic performance coach for 20 years working with athletes from youth to professional. For the past 2 years I have been the volunteer strength & speed coach at QVMS, where my kids go to school. This program is free throughout the fall and winter, and we transition to the track team in the Spring. However, each summer we follow what the High School does, and offer a paid version of the program as a fundraiser. I do not accept any pay for this training, as all funds go to equipment upgrades, snacks, shirts, field rentals, and assistant coach pay. We have purchased top of the line equipment such as Vertimax, Woodway Curve, timing gaits, and vertical jump testing equipment. SCHOLARSHIPS are available, and I don't want any child left out because of financial reasons.
The summer program runs from Saturday 6/21 - 8/9. Soccer athletes will be in the first time slot, so they can stick around and play pickup together. All other sports are in the second time slot, and if you play basketball I will add time at the end to use our new shooting machine at the community center.
