Geoff Barnes grew up in Dallas, Texas, and lives in Sewickley. He has a Bachelors from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Masters from the University of Oregon. Geoff taught at the Savannah College of Art and Design and Robert Morris University from 1997 to 2005, when he left teaching to practice design full-time. He currently works at Google. Geoff has four children: three QVHS graduates, and a daughter who will likely graduate with the class of 2034.
Kati Doebler lives in Osborne after growing up in New Jersey. She and her husband Matt have two children, Heidi and Libby. Kati has a degree in English from Miami University and a master’s of science in new media and information systems from the London School of Economics. She works full-time as a software engineering product manager. In addition to serving on the Quaker Valley School Board, Kati also represents the District on the Sewickley Public Library board of trustees.
Gianni Floro is a graduate of Quaker Valley High School. Serving as a school board director since 2001, he Chairs the Facilities and Operations Committee. Raised in Sewickley, Gianni is an attorney whose practice is focused in the area of civil litigation. He is a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County; and serves on the Board of Governors of the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Floro holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, a Master’s of Science in Environmental Sciences and Management, and with a Juris Doctorate, all from Duquesne University. Gianni resides in Bell Acres with his wife Lisa and their two children. He also oversees the James Bouchard Park in Bell Acres for Quaker Valley Softball and Baseball.
Daniela Sauro Helkowski grew up and Sewickley and is a QVHS graduate. She has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and an elementary education degree from Slippery Rock University. Daniela and her husband Dan have three children: Gabriella, Juliana, and Maria. She is a business partner at Insurance on Walnut. Ms. Helkowski serves as the School Board representative on the Parkway West Career and Technology Center Board.
Jonathan Kuzma grew up in Leet Township and is a proud member of Quaker Valley's class of 2001. He has a bachelor of arts degree in economics and history from the College of William and Mary. Since graduating, Jonathan moved to Leetsdale, where he currently resides. He is a manager at Deloitte. In addition to serving on the Quaker Valley School Board, he represents the district on the Sewickley Public Library of the Quaker Valley School District board and is the chairman of the municipal authority of the Borough of Leetsdale.
Stratton Nash is a proud Quaker Valley graduate. He grew up in Sewickley and currently resides there with his wife and son. Stratton attended Point Park University and works professionally as a corporate marketing specialist.
Corinna Garcia-Skorpenske is a graduate of The University of Houston Clear Lake School of Education with. B.S. in Bilingual and ESL education and a Minor in Health and Fitness. Corinna has taught and tutored in Texas, West Virginia and Pennsylvania to grades K-12, and to teachers seeking Spanish certification. She is married and mother of two successful women.
Missy Walls grew up in Leetsdale, and she is a proud Quaker Valley graduate. She received a degree in communications from Robert Morris University and worked for many years as a nonprofit executive. In 2002 she received her Juris Doctorate degree from Duquesne University and practiced law for many years. She resides in Edgeworth with her wife and daughter who attends Edgeworth Elementary. She devotes her time to her family, and volunteers extensively with the Edgeworth Elementary HSA and other volunteer opportunities throughout the community.
Jessica Webster lives in Osborne with her three children (Louisa, William and Henry) and husband, Andy. Jessica holds a Master's Degree in Literacy Education from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill along with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Edinboro University. She has earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Pittsburgh. After 23 years in education as a teacher and school administrator, Jessica now serves as the Senior Family Engagement Specialist for the federally-funded Statewide Family Engagement Center, CAFE serving both Maryland and Pennsylvania where she supports families and educators in building and sustaining effective partnerships focused on student learning and growth.
