Kindergarten Registration for 2025-2026 is now open.  Registration for grades 1-12 will open in March.

Check box that says "Create a Power School Account".

Step 1: Create a PowerSchool Account

  • Click the red button above and complete the pre-registration form for each student you are enrolling.
  • Your pre-registration will be reviewed and you will be emailed instruction on how to finish setting up your account.
  • Finish setting up your PowerSchool account using the Access Code and Password emailed to you for each student.
  • If you already have a PowerSchool parent account you do not need to create a new one.*

Step 2: Collect Documents for Upload
  • Collect the following documents before completing the online-registration form.
  • Two (2) proofs of residency
  • Copy of child's birth certificate or passport
  • Copy of child's immunization records
 
 
Check box that says "Complete All Online Forms".

Step 3: Complete All Registration Forms

  • Login to your PowerSchool Account
  • Click "Forms" on the left then the "Enrollment" tab.
  • Complete all 6 forms for each student being enrolled.
  • You must click "Submit" for each form.
 

 

Check box that says "Login and Check Completion Status".

Step 4: Login and Check Status

  • Login to check the status of your enrollment.
  • Click "Forms" then the "Enrollment" tab.
  • Each form status will say, Not Started, Started, Approved, Pending, or Rejected.
 

 

Check box that says "Official Enrollment Notification".

Step 5: Receive Official Enrollment Notification

  • Once all documents have been approved, you will officially be contacted by QVSD to discuss transportation and start dates.
 

 


*
If you already have a PowerSchool parent account, you can use your account to register additional children.  After you have received an Access ID and Access Password, Login to your PowerSchool Account. Select Account Preferences on the left side, and then the Student tab.  Click the “+” button to the right and add additional children using the Access ID and Password from the pre-registration confirmation email.  You must still pre-register all students entering or re-entering the District.

Additional documents as applicable:
 
  • Students in grades 6 through 12 cannot be scheduled for courses without a current transcript and/or report card from the transfering school.
 
  • High school students who enroll after the start of their 9th-grade year from another PIAA school wishing to play sports must meet PIAA eligibility requirements and complete a PIAA Transfer Waiver Request Form.

When can I begin enrolling my new kindergartener?

 

Registration for the Fall term is not accepted until February of the enrollment year.  Per School Board Policy 201 Admission of Students, a child should be 5 (five) years of age by September 1 to enroll in kindergarten. For a child who will be 5 (five) years of age by October 1, please read School Board Policy 201 for early admission criteria. Please see the Kindergarten Information page for additional information.

 

What paper documents do I need to upload?


You will need to scan and upload the following documents to PowerSchool:


  • Child’s Proof of Age: Copy of Birth Certificate or passport

  • Child’s Proof of Immunization: A physician’s statement/record of immunizations.
    For more information about required immunizations, view the School Immunization Regulations. If your child’s immunizations are not current, s/he will not be permitted to attend school until immunizations are received and/or your physician indicates a plan to have the vaccine(s) administered.

  • Two Proofs of Residency: Acceptable documents include a deed, a lease, current utility bill, current credit card bill, property tax bill, vehicle registration, driver’s license or DOT identification card. Proof of residency documents must be dated within 30 days of submission.  Expired documents are not acceptable.  If applicable, you may complete the Certification of Residency.

What should I do in the case of joint or sole custody?

Please submit a a copy of a custody agreement indicating joint or sole custody to [email protected].

How do I enroll as a Non-Resident of Quaker Valley School District?

 

Quaker Valley School District will admit non-resident students from other school districts subject to the conditions in the Non-Resident Tuition Info and Application. If you wish to enroll your child but are a resident of another school district, please call 412-749-3617 or email [email protected].
