Contests & Competitions

We invite students to create an original podcast of five minutes or less that informs or entertains. Contest dates: April 16 to May 14, 2025.  You can create a podcast on any topic you like in any format you like, whether that’s an interview with an expert, an informal conversation with a friend, a journalistic investigation, a fictional story or anything else you can think of. We welcome podcasts across genres, including, comedy, true crime, news documentary, history, radio theater and sports — let your imagination run wild.  Just make sure that whatever you produce is a complete listening experience. The PA Media and Design Competition is an annual event for students in grades 6-12 that highlights Pennsylvania students’ application skills, creativity, and knowledge. Students individually, or as part of a team, create projects in one of the following categories: 3D Design, Animation, Digital Movie, Logo and Graphic Design, Programming, Web Page Design

The competition for the AIU will be virtual.  All projects must be uploaded to the website by Friday, March 28, 2025.  Winners of each category will be entered into the PA Media and Design State Competition that will be held at Elizabethtown College in May.

Join the Mars New Year Festival's STEAM Challenge, for students worldwide in Grades 3-12. Participants engage in solving a unique STEAM challenge, vying for substantial cash prizes.
