Home & School Association
The mission of the Quaker Valley High School HSA is to encourage and facilitate a partnership among parents, staff, administrators, students, and the community, in order to support, strengthen and enrich the educational experience of students in this district.
We strive to achieve our mission through HSA meetings and support of several activities. We have four formal meetings at the High School throughout the year that include students, administration, and HSA board members. All high school parents are welcome to attend! The funds collected from our dues are divided to support the following activities:
- Teacher and Staff Appreciation: We are planning a Welcome Back Breakfast for staff in September as well as a luncheon and other goodies in May to celebrate National Teacher and Staff Appreciation week.
- Senior Send-Off: Fun treats and activities are planned for each month of the school year to celebrate our Senior Class.
- Homecoming Committee: The HSA supports student/school requests to enhance this dance as it is the most attended event the school sponsors.
- Grants to QVHS Organizations/Clubs: A limited number of small grants are given.
