8th Grade (Class of 2030) High School Transition Information
There are three upcoming high school transition events for current 8th graders:

• Tuesday, March 3rd: The Career Technical Center (Parkway) is having their open house from 5pm to 7pm. See this link for details: https://www.parkwaywest.org/
• Tuesday, March 10th: Dr. Gina Gordon and Mr. Jim Walls (school counselors at QVHS) will visit the eighth graders at the middle school to further explain the transition process. This will be an opportunity for students to learn the basics and to ask questions.
• Wednesday, March 18th:  8th Grade High School Orientation Presentation from 7:00 – 8:00 pm in the High School auditorium. 8th Grade High School Orientation Presentation: This orientation will be presented in-person. Both students and parents are encouraged to participate. The presentation will provide an overview of our programs and thescheduling process. High school professionals and current high school students will contribute and provide perspectives on their high school experiences. view parent letter

Quaker Valley High School Student Council Clothesline Sale
The QVHS Student Council is hosting the first QV Thrift Clothesline Sale on Saturday, April 25 (Earth Day Weekend— tentative date), and we need your clothing donations! We’re collecting gently used clothes, shoes, accessories, and seasonal items (no undergarments). Donation bins are available at the lobbies of Edgeworth Elementary, Osborne Elementary, QVMS, and QVHS up until the sale. The sale will run from 10 AM–2 PM by the concession stand at the Chuck Knox Stadium. Clean out your closet and help support sustainability, an environmental charity, and Student Council initiatives!
