In accordance with Act 3 of 2008, the school district has an Open Records Officer who responds to all requests for information.  Public records of this district will be available for inspection and duplication to any resident of the United States in accordance with the law, with the exception of those records exempted from such inspection and copying by law.

Form and Procedure

A written request for access to a public record shall be submitted on the required form(s) and addressed to the Open Records Officer.

Written requests may be submitted to the District in person, by mail, to a designated facsimile machine, and to a designated email address. Requests must be made between the normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Requests made after 4:00 p.m. will be date stamped for the following business day.

  1. Identification or description of the requested record, in sufficient detail.

  2. Medium in which the record is requested.

  3. Name and address of the individual to receive the District's response. Thereby, the District will not accept requests from anonymous requesters or those that cannot be verified as valid requesters.
