Comprehensive Plan
Quaker Valley is committed to the concept and process of strategic planning. In the spring of 2019, the district held two Comprehensive Planning meetings for the purpose of reviewing the district's mission, vision, and shared values, and to identify strategic goals that will become the foundation of the work of the district. The process of Comprehensive Planning brings together stakeholders from all aspects of the QV Community and ensures that all are working towards achieving common goals. The QV Comprehensive Planning process resulted in the development of five goals that will guide the work and actions of the district over the next three years.
The Goals of Quaker Valley are:
#1: Curriculum, Instruction, and Achievement
We will promote the understanding, mastery, and achievement of all students through high-quality curriculum and exemplary teaching and learning experiences.
# 2: Safe and Student-centered Supports
We will provide a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters a culture of care and mutual respect.
# 3: Innovation
We will create a framework for learning that develops a capacity for innovation, creativity, and an entrepreneurial spirit in a connected world.
# 4: Community Engagement
We will collaborate and engage with our community to enhance opportunities for our young people.
# 5: District Resources
We will maximize the productive use of our resources with integrity, efficiency, and a sense of responsibility.
Below, please find a copy of the QVSD Comprehensive Plan. This document contains the required data review and goal setting, the Professional Development Plan, the Induction Plan, and the Gifted Education Plan. This plan will span from 2023 through 2026.
