Attendance
If you know in advance that your child will miss school, please email [email protected]  or call 412-749-5000 (option 1) to report the absence. Be sure to indicate the date of absence, reason for absence, and any additional pertinent information. On the day a student is absent, a ParentSquare alert will be sent home indicating that your child is not in school. If you have not yet submitted an excuse for the day, please do so through the link included in the message.

QVSD is again offering Voluntary Student Accident Insurance to our students for the 2025-2026 school year through A-G Administrators LLC. more info

2025 Quaker Valley Middle School Fall Tennis Club/ Age Group Clinics
Christi Hays, the QV Girls’ and Boys’ Varsity Tennis Coach will once again be offering a QV Middle School Fall Tennis Club and Age Group Clinics. The club will be open to 6, 7 and 8th graders who have no experience. And it is also open to some 4th and 5th graders who have experience (please check with Coach Christi). The program will start the week of August 18 and runs for 9 weeks through Friday, October 17 - depending on the Varsity Girls Schedule. The Age Group Clinics will run on some Saturdays from 10-11 for ages 3-9. The club will feature practices at the QV High School courts- and possible matches against opponents that may include Sewickley Academy, Allegheny CC and Butler Area. Quaker Valley School District uses ParentSquare for school communication. Parents/guardians, staff members, middle and high school students, and others receive important updates and notices via text and email notifications. We encourage parents/guardians to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app, which is available for download both in the App Store and on Google Play.
