Attendance

If you know in advance that your child will miss school, please email [email protected] and include your child's homeroom teacher on the email. Be sure to indicate the date of absence, reason for absence, and any additional pertinent information. On the day a student is absent, a ParentSquare alert will be sent home indicating that your child is not in school. If you have not yet submitted an excuse for the day, please do so through the link included in the message.

Incoming Kindergarten Parent Meeting - February 11 (at Osborne)
Parents of incoming kindergarteners for the 2026-2027 school year are invited to join us for an informative evening on Wednesday, February 11 at Osborne Elementary. Our program, which starts at 6 PM, will give parents the opportunity to learn more about Quaker Valley elementary schools, talk to the principals, hear from the kindergarten teams, and take a tour of kindergarten classrooms. This presentation will take place at Osborne Elementary School but is for all incoming kindergarten families in the District. There is no registration required to attend this event - we hope to see you there! Please note: This evening is just for parents. Children should not attend this event.

Registering for Kindergarten is separate from Kindergarten Roundup (KRU). Kindergarten Roundup will be held at Edgeworth Elementary on February 17 and 18, 2026. Parents and their incoming kindergarten student(s) are invited to attend Kindergarten Roundup. Parents can select a time slot using THIS LINK. Kindergarten Roundup is an opportunity for your child to meet the kindergarten teachers.

Track and Field Spring Clinic for Quaker Valley Students in Grades 3-6
This Spring, Ryan Kelly, Quaker Valley Middle School Track and Field Coach is again offering a track and field Spring clinic for Quaker Valley Middle School students in 6th grade and Quaker Valley elementary students in grades 3-5. This opportunity is to provide students exposure to all that track and field offers and provide them with time to be instructed in the events of sprinting, distance running, hurdling, jumping, and throwing in a practice setting. This opportunity will occur on the track at Quaker Valley Middle School (GPS Address: 618 Harbaugh Street, Sewickley, PA 15143) from 8-10 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2026, Saturday, March 14, 2026, Saturday, March 21, 2026, Saturday, April 11, 2026, Saturday, April 18, 2026 and Saturday, April 25, 2026. If your student-athlete is interested in participating in this track and field Spring clinic, please reach out to Ryan Kelly via email to register your student-athlete and thank you for your interest.
