Sewickley Valley YMCA Mission Statement

Open 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
STEM and Theme-based curriculum including:
- Math and Science based center-time play
- Social Skill building activities
- Art and Literature program
- Games and fine/gross motor skill activities
- Intro to Handwriting without Tears
Monthly visits with Carnegie Museum-on-the-Move and Sewickley Library, and Community Helpers
Field Trips and Local Nature Hikes

Programs Provided
3 year old: 2, 3 and 5 day programs
4-5 year old: 3 or 5 day programs

Preschool Programs offered by Sewickley Valley YMCA

The Sewickley YMCA strives to meet your child’s individual needs by ensuring enthusiasm and excitement for learning and positive attention. We utilize an age-appropriate curriculum focusing on S.T.R.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Math). Our child care staff partners with parents to ensure every child has the best possible experience.

The State Department of Human Services licenses our child care programs, and we participate in the Keystone S.T.A.R.S. quality enhancement program. We accept C.C.W. funding and offer financial assistance to families that qualify.

PART-DAY PRESCHOOL

Osborne Elementary School

Ages: 3 years through Pre-Kindergarten
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Part-Day Preschool is for children ages 3-5 who are fully potty trained. Programming follows the Quaker Valley School District schedule.
