Preschool Program

The Sewickley Y strives to meet your child’s individual needs by creating classroom communities that allow your child to grow and thrive as a little learner. We utilize The Creative Curriculum® for all age groups, align our lesson plans with the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards, and encourage children to learn through play. Our teaching staff partners with parents to ensure each child has the best possible experience. Part-Day Preschool is for children who are fully potty trained. Programming follows the Quaker Valley School District schedule. 

Our programs are licensed through the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, and we participate in the Keystone S.T.A.R.S. quality enhancement program. We accept Child Care Works funding through the Early Learning Resources Center (formerly C.C.I.S.) and offer financial assistance to families that qualify.
