What is Race for Education?
The Race for Education is our HSA’s largest fundraiser in which families, friends, and neighbors pledge money to support the students as they participate in the Race for Education. Music plays and everyone cheers as students jog, walk, skip, run, wander, shuffle, stroll or saunter around the track. The 2025 Race for Education will be held on Thursday, October 16th.
Why are we having a Race for Education?
Our HSA provides many fantastic programs for our students including Field Trips, Assemblies, Classroom Gifts, Events, Programming and more! In order to continue providing these programs, our goal is to raise at least $40,000 (not including business sponsorships), so ANY donation is welcome! If every child raises at least $50, we can reach our goal and more! ALL of the money raised will go directly into HSA-sponsored programs that enrich our students’ experiences.
How do we raise money?
This year, we’re excited to continue partnering with the fundraising system called 99Pledges. 99Pledges gives every student an individual donation web page where friends and family can donate and share. You’ll also be able to see how much each class has raised and how close we are to meeting or beating our goal!
Our Race for Education fundraiser kicks off in mid-September. Around that time, you will receive an email with a link to your student’s donation page. Simply make a donation if you’re able to, and share your participant's link with friends and family. From then until the big event on October 16th, each student can collect donations in support of our Race for Education. Please help your child by sharing their page with family, relatives, friends, co-workers, etc. Posting on social media is another option!
We are shooting for 100% participation so no amount is too small! Please keep in mind that we can meet our school goal if each child raises $50.
