QVMS Students Collect Food for Local Food Pantry

Students at Quaker Valley Middle School have been collecting food items to donate to the Sewickely Community Center. On Friday, November 16, students counted all of the donations and collected 3,022 items. 6th grader Liam Welge was recognized with a leadership award for collecting the most items. He reached out to local stores and neighbors to help with the food drive. Thanks to all of the students for collecting items!
