QVHS Students Compete in 2026 Science Olympiad Regional Competition

Science Olympiad is "the premier team STEM competition in the nation, providing standards-based challenges to 6,000 teams at 425 tournaments in all 50 states." Learn more about Science Olympiad HERE
 
On Friday, March 27, the QVMS Science Olympiad Team competed at the Southwestern Regional Tournament at PennWest California. Twelve students from the high school participated and earned a 6th place overall finish. The team is coached by Mr. Jason Marko.

Chemistry Lab - Rachel Bartels and Hugo Castellini - 3rd Place
Codebusters - Rachel Bartels, Hugo Castellini, and Charlie Pyle - 4th Place
Electric Vehicle - Rachel Bartels and Hugo Castellini - 3rd Place
Engineering CAD - Henry Topol and Luca Albano - 4th Place
Entomology - William Webster and Nathan Grabiak - 5th Place
Experimental Design - Lucy Montagnese, Stefan Mauer, and Oliver Zutter - 5th Place
Material Science - Henry Topol and Luca Kurumfashe - 3rd Place
