Mrs. Jennifer Shroads Hired as Quaker Valley’s Director of Student Services

Quaker Valley School District welcomes Ms. Jennifer Shroads as the new Quaker Valley School District Director of Student Services. Shroads will join Quaker Valley on February 12, 2024. Her appointment fills the vacancy left when Mr. Mike Lewis transitioned to Edgeworth Elementary Principal after serving as Director of Student Services for four years.

"We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Shroads to Quaker Valley as our new Director of Student Services,” said Dr. Tammy A. Andreyko, Superintendent. “Ms. Shroads brings years of experience to her role, and her passion for students is immediately evident. We know she will continue to foster a positive and inclusive educational environment for all members of our school community."

Shroads joins the District after serving as the Director of Pupil Services at the South Side Area School District for the past seven years. Prior to her work as Director of Pupil Services, Shroads taught at South Side Area School District for six years, and Freedom Area School District for four.

“I am appreciative to have the opportunity to become a part of the Quaker Valley Family. It is an honor,” said Shroads. “I am eager to uphold the longstanding tradition of putting the students of Quaker Valley first as I serve the community, students, and staff.”

Ms. Shroads holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary/special education from Geneva College, a master’s in instructional technology from Walden University, and her educational supervision certification from the University of Pittsburgh.
