Quaker Valley Wrestling fell to Burrell High School 41-24 in the WPIAL AA Team Semis on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Chartiers-Houston School District.
Quaker Valley then wrestled against Frazier High School in the consolation match, which Quaker Valley won 46-27.
The Quakers travel to Huntingdon High School on Monday, February 6 at 7 p.m. for the preliminary round of the PIAA AA Team Wrestling Championship. If the Quakers win, they will travel to Hershey for round one of states this Thursday, February 9.
In addition to the excitement over the weekend, senior Logan Richey also recorded his 100th career victory by pin in his February 1 match against an opponent from Jefferson-Morgan. Logan is the 5th Quaker to reach this milestone.
