Quaker Valley Hires Head Football Coach

Jason Cappa is the new Varsity Football Coach at Quaker Valley High School. He was recently an assistant football coach on the Quakers team, serving as the offensive and defensive line coach.

Cappa has been with the district since 2019. He is a paraprofessional in the Life Skills classroom at the high school and the middle school softball coach.

He has a degree in elementary education with a minor in athletic coaching from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He also has a master’s degree in educational leadership and is working on a master’s degree in special education. Cappa attended Riverview High School in Oakmont, PA, where he was a three-sport athlete and the first All-State Football player in school history. He has spent time coaching football at OLSH, Riverview High School, Shady Side Academy, and Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship.
