Food Drive

Schools are divided into six divisions by enrollment.  The schools that tabulate the most “meals” (total between money donated and food collected) in each of these divisions will be announced at the end of October.   Winners will be recognized during the annual WPIAL Sportsmanship Summit on November 17.

Quaker Valley is in Division 4A with the following schools:  Ambridge Area, Beaver Area, Blackhawk, Brownsville Area, Burrell, Central Valley, Creative & Performing Arts (CAPA)*, Deer Lakes, Derry Area, East Allegheny, Elizabeth Forward, Freeport Area, Hopewell, Keystone Oaks, Lincoln Park Performing Arts, Mt. Pleasant, North Catholic, Oakland Catholic, Southmoreland, South Allegheny, South Park, Valley, Westinghouse*, Yough.

Financial Donations: Each school has its own donation page on Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank (pittsburghfoodbank.org/wpial) that will keep a running total. Those wanting to donate will be asked to select their school from the Pittsburgh Food Bank link. For every $1.00 donated, five meals can be provided. School totals will also be credited to their applicable food bank.

Physical food donations: For every 1.25 pounds of food donated, one meal can be provided. Quaker Valley will collect physical food donations at the following home events:
