Quaker Valley is excited to welcome Officer David Watts to the District. Office Watts joins QV from Avella Area School District. He will serve the entire District but will be stationed at the Quaker Valley Middle School. Officer Watts will work closely with Officer Aaron Vanatta to provide training, support, and services to Quaker Valley students, staff, faculty, and families.
Officer Watts is a former Pennsylvania State Trooper where he was awarded "Trooper of the Year" in 2013. He also served four years in the United States Army and four years in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Officer Watts' salary is being paid with a two-year grant from PCCD School Safety and Security Program.
