Kindness Week: February 10-14
This year, Edgeworth Elementary will be collecting school supplies from February 10-14 to donate to The Education Partnership. Located in McKees Rocks, The Education Partnership is Southwestern Pennsylvania’s first teacher resource center distributing school and classroom supplies at no cost to students and teachers in need. They have served over 130,000 local students with over $17.4 million worth of supplies. Their vision is for a community that is invested in meeting the needs of local students and their teachers. Students helping students, teachers helping teachers, communities helping schools… and we are thrilled to be a part of that effort! During kindness week, each grade level will be collecting specific supplies to donate to The Education Partnership.

- Kindergarten: Crayons (24 count pack)
- First Grade: Markers (8-10 count pack)
- Second Grade: Pocket Folders (2-pocket, 9 x 11.5")
- Third Grade: Notebooks (1-subject)
- Fourth Grade: Filler Paper (150 sheet, 3-hole punched, lined)
- Fifth Grade: Copy Paper Reams (500 sheet, 8.5 x 11", white)
With the help of our PTA, donations will be tallied up at the end of the week and will be delivered to The Education Partnership to be distributed to local students and teachers in need. PLUS the grade level that collects the most supplies will win the opportunity to name new fish for the Edgeworth fish tank!
