Bittersweet

Bittersweet is a literary magazine featuring prose, poetry, and artwork created by Quaker Valley High School students. This activity is open to any high school student interested in writing and publishing. As a Bittersweet staff member, students will create original writing, review and analyze submissions to the magazine, and choose the pieces that will appear in the yearly publication. Students may also choose to assist with the design and production of the magazine, which includes designing the magazine layout, placing text and artwork appropriately within the magazine template, and proofreading and editing the chosen pieces. Each year Bittersweet is submitted to the National Council for Teachers of English (NCTE) literary magazine and has consistently won exemplary publication awards from this organization.
