Aaron Vanatta

Officer Aaron Vanatta serves as the Chief of School Police and Safety & Security Coordinator for Quaker Valley School District. He has a degree in Sociology and Anthropology from West Virginia University and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Municipal Police Academy. Prior to joining Quaker Valley, Officer Vanatta served as the Keystone Oaks School District Police Officer and Safety Coordinator. Officer Vanatta is on the Board of Directors for Friends of Safe School USA and recently served as the Region 3 (PA, NY, NJ, DE) Director for National Association of School Resource Officers from 2015-2020. He also works part-time as an officer for South Strabane Township Police Department in Washington, PA.
