The orchestra is a co-curricular class for grade 9-12.  The orchestra program meets everyday during first period and has evening performance requirements.  The orchestra performs every year at a venue for the community among their other performance requirements such as the Holiday and spring concerts.  Recently, the orchestra performed in the Rotunda at the Capital building in Harrisburg, PA.  Students who show excellent musicianship may apply and/or audition for many Pennsylvania Music Educators Association Festivals.  Some PMEA festivals include: PMEA Junior High District Orchestra, PMEA Senior High District Orchestra and Honors Orchestra.  Other festivals that can be attended are: West Virginia Honors String Orchestra and Strings North Honors String Festival.
