National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921. For more information, please visit the National Honor Society Website.
Induction into the Quaker Valley High School National Honor Society takes place in the fall. Juniors and Seniors with a cumulative grade point average over 3.5 are eligible to apply to NHS. Those students will receive an email with instructions regarding the application process. Students are given two weeks to complete the application. A panel of teachers convenes to review the applications and to determine if the student meets the standards set out by the National Honor Society and Quaker Valley High School.
