Mosaic Mural Project

This colorful ceramic mosaic mural was created during a Pittsburgh Center for Arts and Media Artist Residency Project with Osborne Elementary School in Spring 2023. Ceramicist/Teaching Artist Laura Jean McLaughlin led the residency in collaboration with 5th grade English Language Arts Teacher Lara Grogan, Art Teacher Lisa Stoeckle, and 5th grade students. The project was supported in part by the Arts in Education Partnership of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
