Quaker Valley Finds Success at PIAA 2A Swim/Dive Championships

Congratulations to the Quaker Valley students who competed in the PIAA Swim/Dive Championships March 15-16. The Girls Swim/Dive Team placed 5th overall in the championships!

 

Diving Results: Three QVSA Divers competed at PIAA 2A Diving Championships.

 

Ruby Olliffe medaled and finished 7th;  Katie Blackmer placed 11th and Ruby Krotine placed 15th.

 

Swimming Results:

Emily Connors (junior) placed 4th (medaled) in the 100 Butterfly and 6th(medaled) in the 100 Freestyle

Thomas Fuener (sophomore) placed 19th in the 100 Butterfly and 28th in the 200 Freestyle.

Margaret Getty (sophomore) placed 18th in the 500 Freestyle.

Alex Wagner (senior) placed 29th in the 200 Individual Medley.

Girls’ 200 Freestyle relay placed 4th (medaled) – Ella Fuener, Paige Juliano, Kwilai Karto and Emily Connors

Girls’ 400 Freestyle Relay placed 4th (medaled) – Ella Fuener, Emily Connors, Margaret Getty and Kwilai Karto

Girls’ Medley Relay placed 20th (Alexa Westwood, Paige Juliano, Ella Fuener and Kwilai Karto)

Boys 200 Medley and 400 Freestyle Relays placed 17th (first alternate) in both.  (Ryan Steinfurth, Alex Wagner, Thomas Fuener and Wes Riddle)
