Each year, the Quaker Valley School Board gives out an award to an outstanding senior. This year, Maggie McManus received the award for her dedication to learning, commitment to responsible citizenship, and personifying the value of a Quaker Valley education.
During her time at Quaker Valley, Maggie has been on the Student Council serving as Vice-President, and this year is the President. She serves as a volunteer math teacher and enjoys enhancing young students' understanding and improving their math skills.
Maggie is also the captain of the Girls Tennis Team and works as an Assistant Tennis Pro in her spare time.
She has been a Girl Scout since 2013 and last summer received the Girl Scout Gold Award.
In the fall, Maggie will attend Texas Christian University.
