The QV staff and administration are determined to celebrate the QVHS Class of 2020 and their contributions to the district and the local community. The class has lost precious opportunities, but we hope to create special memories. Our seniors have demonstrated such resilience, understanding, and perseverance. We are so proud of them!
We know how important it is for the seniors to come together with their classmates and celebrate their accomplishments. In addition to our virtual graduation ceremony on June 4, Quaker Valley School District plans to hold a graduation event on Friday, July 31, 2020, at Chuck Knox Stadium. More details about this event will be forthcoming.
Quaker Valley faculty and staff have signed up to "adopt" seniors during graduation week. In an effort to let the seniors know how special they are, faculty and staff will be making and delivering care packages for each member of the Class of 2020.
Quaker Valley faculty and staff miss all of the students during this time of remote learning. On Friday, May 15, teachers are going to have a parade through the QV community. About 100 staff members have volunteered to take part in the parade. There will be four routes, and we hope to see a lot of familiar faces on each route. The parade will begin at 3 p.m. Further details and route information will be released soon.
QVHS Principal Mrs. Deborah Riccobelli and Assistant Principal Mrs. Abigail Bator worked with PeakPGH to design sweatshirts for the senior class. The hoodies will be given to seniors in the next few weeks. The design is exclusive for this class and we hope the seniors enjoy this gift from QVHS.
As we wrap up the 2019-2020 school year QV is holding a District-wide spirit week during the last week of classes for seniors. We hope you will join us and share your spirit using the hashtag #QVSpiritWeek

Thursday: Thankful Thursday what are you thankful for? Teachers, parents, friends, pets, life, share your gratitude today.
Friday: Future Friday Seniors, it's a QV tradition to wear a t-shirt indicating your future college, military, or work choice on the last day of school. We would love to see your photos! The rest of us will be joining you in our QV gear.
