Congratulations to Joyce Olawaiye, Kieran Cain, and Stanley Hyman for participating in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s 70th Annual Western Pa Spelling Bee, hosted by Robert Morris University on Saturday, March 7, 2020.

They were among 82 4th-8th grade students representing schools throughout Western Pennsylvania. All three Quaker Valley students advanced to the final round of competition. Way to go, QV Spellers!
The winner of this event is awarded an all-expense paid trip to represent our region at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C., in May 2020.
