District Budget
2024-2025 Proposed Final Budget
The Quaker Valley School Board unanimously approved the 2024-2025 proposed final budget during the April 16, 2024, school board meeting. The proposed final budget totals $60,659,277 with a real estate tax levy of 21.2362 mills (.6085 mill increase or 2.9%) that would allocate $555,000 to support the Sewickley Public Library of the Quaker Valley School District. The full proposed budget in the format required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) is posted below along with future budget and tax rate projections that contemplate annual cost of living operational increases (that historically average a 2% tax increase) AND incremental tax increases of approximately 1% each year for funding of the new high school. Any final budget changes or additional details will be presented/discussed at the May 14, 2024, finance committee meeting with adoption of the final budget scheduled for the school board’s legislative meeting on May 21, 2024. 2023-2024 Final Budget
The Quaker Valley School Board unanimously approved the 2023-2024 final budget during the May 23, 2023 school board meeting. The final budget totals $58,254,014 with a real estate tax levy of 20.6277 mills (.5910 mill increase or 2.9%) that would allocate $545,000 to support the Sewickley Public Library of the Quaker Valley School District.
