Performing Arts

Students of every age engage in performing arts at all Quaker Valley schools--taking form in the traditional, organized curricular or co-curricular programming such as broadcasting morning announcements, performing in the first grade, fifth grade, middle school and high school musicals--to the unexpected, spontaneous or less traditional forms such as Odyssey of the Mind skits, mock trial activities, classroom videos and student movies.

Quaker Valley’s Drama and Musical programs balance award-winning high standards with an inclusive, student-centered philosophy that welcomes all students to be a part of the show. Recent productions include Shrek the Musical (HS), Mary Poppins Jr. (MS) and The Lion King Kids (Osborne). 

Quaker Valley High School alumni have gone on to successful careers in theatre, film, opera, television and broadcasting. They credit their Quaker Valley experience in the performing arts and music education for providing the exposure, foundation and support for their passions and eventual careers.
