Quaker Valley High School Softball Welcomes New Coach

Kaci Hott, Quaker Valley Middle School math teacher, was named the new Head Softball Coach at Quaker Valley High School during the Board meeting on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

“I am honored and thrilled to accept the position of Head Softball Coach at Quaker Valley High School. I am deeply grateful to the administration, the athletic department, and the entire Quaker Valley community for entrusting me with this responsibility,” Hott said.

Last year, Hott served as the assistant coach at Quaker Valley and previously coached at Trinity Middle School. In addition to her experience as a coach, Hott played on the Trinity High School team which advanced to states in her sophomore year. She also served as the head Student Manager for the Penn State University softball team for three years.

“It is with great excitement that we welcome and introduce Kaci Hott as our new High School Head Softball Coach. Kaci has been a part of our QV Athletic Department family as an Assistant coach in several sports, and we look forward to her leading our softball program,” said Athletic Director Mike Mastroianni.

“As we eagerly await the start of the upcoming softball season, I am filled with excitement; one of the most thrilling aspects of this season is the return of all our players from last year's roster, as well as the addition of some new underclassmen,” said Hott. “We ended last year's better than where we started, and I cannot wait to continue on this trajectory together, improving each day and competing in all that we do. Together, we have an amazing opportunity to create lasting memories, write our own story of triumph and resilience, and to leave an indelible mark on the field of play.”

Best wishes to the Quaker Valley Softball team this season!
