Quaker Valley School District is proud to rank among the best schools in the region consistently. The Pittsburgh Business Times has released its 2023 School Guide, and Quaker Valley has moved up one place to 8th place in the regional school district ranking from its previous 9th place ranking.
The Business Times considers state standardized test scores from the three years—2022, 2021, and 2019. This ranking was suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic, resulting in no ranking release in 2021. This year’s Honor Roll ranking of school districts is based on standardized test scores from the exams taken in grades 3-8 and 11 (Keystone Exams for high school students). The ranking includes 105 districts across several counties including Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Washington, and Westmoreland.
