Computer Lab
Our computer lab is state-of-the art. We use Apple MacBook Air laptops with the latest industry-standard applications for desktop publishing, drawing & painting, slide presentations, photo editing, podcasting, digital movie creation, programming, robotics, 3D design, and web browsing. We have a ceiling-mounted projector, a ten-foot retractable screen, built-in speakers, a wireless audio system, and the capability to broadcast cable television, VHS, DVD, and streaming video. Students and staff have access to both black-and-white and color laser printers, as well as a color poster printer.
We have Lego EV3 robotics kits, Ozobot Evo robots, Blue-bots, Hummingbird Duo circuit board kits, BBC micro:bit go, Snap Circuits, littleBits kits, Makey Makey, Squishy Circuits, and 3D printers for students and staff to utilize as well.
In additional to computer classes, the lab is used for staff technology training. There are open lab periods for staff and students to work on various projects and standardized test preparation. Our computer lab provides a wonderful environment for students and staff to learn, create, explore, experiment, communicate, and collaborate using modern technology.
