Psychological Services

Quaker Valley School District is able to provide short term, targeted psychological counseling services in order to help students benefit from their educational programming. The goal is to identify specific target behaviors that affect school performance that can be worked on in a short time frame that will help provide a positive adjustment for students in this school setting. School based services are not meant to replace long term therapeutic services that might deal with a variety of issues beyond school, but instead are more narrowly focused on issues contained within the school setting.

Quaker Valley employs a full time and a part time school psychologist to help provide and oversee such services. Additional supports are delivered through guidance counselors and interns for both the guidance department and school psychology services.
