Cross Country is a competitive scholastic fall sport for boys and girls in grades 9-12. For 2016-17. Quaker Valley competes in WPIAL Division II Section 2A for both boys and girls. Athletes engage in strenuous workouts and are expected to be in top physical condition. Both teams have been tremendously successful in past years, winning both individual and WPIAL championships.
In 2015-2016, the girls' team won the WPIAL AA Championship for the sixth time in the past seven years and Zach Skolnekovich captured his second Individual championship. In the PIAA Championship, the girls' team finished 5th and Lucie Kubinski finished 6th in individuals. For the boys' individuals, Zach Skolnekovich finished in 2nd place, and was also selected to the first team of the Pennsylvania Track and Field Coaches Association all-state cross country team.
In 2014-2015, the girls' team won the WPIAL AA Championship for the fourth time in five years and Zach Skolnekovich won the WPIAL Class AA individual cross country championship. In the PIAA Class AA Championship, the girls' team finished in 3rd place and Zack Skolnekovich finished in 12th place for the boys.
In 2013-2014, the boys' team won the MAC championship, while the girls' team took fifth place. In the WPIAL Championships, the boys' team finished third and the girls' team finished fourth.
In 2012-2013, the Quaker Valley boys' and girls' cross country teams each won the WPIAL Class AA Championship. It was the sixth straight title and ninth overall for the boys team, and the fourth consecutive title and eighth overall for the girls team. The 2011-2012 boys team also won the PIAA Class AA State Championship.
