Cross Country is a competitive scholastic fall sport for boys and girls in grades 9-12. Quaker Valley competes in WPIAL Class AA Section 2. Athletes engage in strenuous workouts and are expected to be in top physical condition. Both teams have been tremendously successful in past years, winning both individual and WPIAL championships.
In 2012-2013, the Quaker Valley boys and girls cross country teams each won the WPIAL Class AA Championship. It was the sixth straight title and ninth overall for the boys team, and the fourth consecutive title and eighth overall for the girls team. The 2011-2012 boys team won the PIAA Class AA State Championship.
