Physicals

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Quaker Valley High School Athletic Department will offer free sports physicals on Monday, June 7, 2010 starting at 4:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Please call 412-741-5121 to make an appointment.

The physicals will be conducted at the GPOA offices in the Critmore Building at 1099 Ohio River Boulevard (Map/Directions). GPOA doctors will perform the physicals, which are offered free of charge to Quaker Valley athletes. These physicals will cover anyone interested in interscholastic sports at Quaker Valley High School during the 2010-2011 school year. They physicals are open to incoming freshman through seniors. Middle School students are asked to see their family doctor (students entering either the seventh or eighth grade).

Any student who has an interest in playing a sport that is offered by Quaker Valley High School* is encouraged to get a physical, even if the student decides not to play at a later date. A physical exam is required by the PIAA for anyone participating in interscholastic sports prior to the first day of practice.

The above date will be the only date offered through the school for the 2010-2011 school year. If your son/daughter does not get their physical on this date, it is the parent's responsibility to have their son/daughter examined by their family doctor prior to the first day of practice, but not before June 1, 2010.
