Classrooms for the Future at Quaker Valley High SchoolClassrooms for the Future is about recognizing and embracing the need for high school reform, enabling teachers to use technology as an effective tool for educating students, and preparing students to enter and successfully compete in the ever-expanding high-tech global marketplace.
In 2007, Quaker Valley High School was a proud recipient of this state grant in which students benefited from additional technology. Projectors and interactive whiteboards were installed in core academic classrooms to facilitate instruction, increase student achievement, and enhance teacher development. CFF teachers participated in online courses about learning in the 21st Century and authentic teaching, and utilized web 2.0 tools in their classrooms.
