Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 12:00-8:00 PM and Friday, November 4, 2016 from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Odyssey of the Mind Parent Information Meeting - October 25 at Osborne
Odyssey of the Mind is a creative problem solving competition for students of all ages. Students form teams of 5-7 members under the supervision of an adult coach. They select one of five problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. Teams create a solution and present their solution within an 8-minute time limit at the Western PA Regional competition, and possibly the state and world level. Anyone interested in creating a team, coaching, or getting detailed information about Odyssey of the Mind should attend a parent information meeting on Tuesday, October 25 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Osborne Elementary Large Group Room. view flyer
E3 Career Event - October 27
Education, Engagement and Enjoyment. Students and parents are invited to attend the second annual E3 event on Thursday, October 27 from 6-8:30 p.m. at Quaker Valley High School. Studio Life Art Club meets on Mondays after school at QVMS

The Studio Life Art Club is a free after school program that allows students to create art in a studio environment. Sign ups take place outside the Middle School Art Room. Student opportunity to travel to Italy and Greece
QVHS students are invited to explore the history of Italy and Greece with Mrs. Robin Russell for a spring break cultural immersion experience. Senior Pictures for 2017 Yearbook due by October 28
Senior pictures for the 2017 yearbook are due October 28, 2016. Pictures will not be accepted after that date. NO EXCEPTIONS. A letter with guidelines for sizes and baby pictures has been mailed home. If your child’s senior photo is not submitted by October 28, 2016, his or her school picture will be used instead. Pictures may be dropped off in the main office (place them in the QV Yearbook box on the counter), given to Mrs. Rosa in room 301, or sent digitally. The senior pictures will be returned. If the picture can be submitted on a CD or digitally via email from the photographer, it would be appreciated. Please ensure the photo is at least 300 dpi and 2” by 3”. She is in the process of meeting with each student to discuss and approve the submitted ideas.
