Students entering 10th-12th grade next school year have the option of taking Physical Education and/or Health & Wellness online this summer instead of during the 2015-16 school year. There is a $115 fee for each course. Space is limited to 75 slots. See the course descriptions and registration form for more information.

QVEA Scholarship/Financial Support Application for Seniors Due Feb. 2
Each year, the Quaker Valley Education Association awards scholarships and/or financial support to graduating seniors. This scholarship / financial support is given through donations from QVEA members (teachers) and friends of education. The scholarship is available to students who plan to enroll in a post-secondary experience, not limited to college, work, military, and or vocational training. The scholarships given each year are worth at least $1000 each. Application information is below and also available from the Collegiate Affairs office via Family Connection. If you have specific questions about the scholarship, please see Mr. Hollein in the library. The scholarship deadline is Monday, February 2, 2015.

National Honor Society Induction - February 11
The National Honor Society Induction is scheduled for Wednesday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
Univ. of Pgh. Health Career Scholars Academy Applications Due Feb. 16
The University of Pittsburgh Health Career Scholars Academy has replaced the Pa. Governor's School For Health Care and is now accepting applications for summer 2015. The program is open to current sophomores and juniors. The residential four-week academy has maintained the high quality Governor's School experience but is no longer full scholarship as a result of state budget cuts. The cost is $2,700. Pennsylvania School for Global Entrepreneurship Applications Due Feb. 16
The Pa. School for Global Entrepreneurship has replaced the similar Governor's School and will be held this summer at Lehigh University. Applications are now being accepted from current sophomores and juniors and are due by Feb. 16, 2015. The residential four-week academy has maintained the high quality Governor's School experience but is no longer full scholarship as a result of state budget cuts. The cost is $3,450. Arena Scheduling for 2015-2016: April 20-22
